Houghton Lake Michigan featured in Heartland Article

Houghton Lake is the largest inland lake in the state of Michigan, almost 20,000 acres in size.  Aquatechnex biologists were invited by the US Army Corps of Engineers to a meeting in the early 2000’s to help the community develop a response to this noxious aquatic weed.  This project has been a huge success and we found this Heartland Institute Article about it.  It also discusses a successful project we performed in Washington State, removing this weed from the reflecting pool for the State Capitol.  Please give it a look.
